The HSRC -Biobank board directors are responsible for planning, implementing, and accomplishing the biobank mission.
The Research Scientific Committee's role is to determine whether a proposed project is consistent with the HSRC-Biobank mission, whether adequate resources are available to conduct the research, and whether the study results are needed. The Research Committee also assists prospective researchers in collaborating with organizational mentors, as well as identifying partnerships and support.

The Institutional Review Board functions in reviewing the methods of research to ensure that they are ethical. They identify and examine modern ethical issues and provide guidance and recommendations that is evidence based helping HSRC Biobank retain a strong ethical stance in front of ethical issues.

Ms. Hamdia is a researcher and Ph.D. scholar at Osaka University, Japan. She had MSc. degree in molecular biology from the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University. She was a delegated researcher in many scientific projects funded by Princess Nourah bint Abdul Rahman. She also worked as a delegated researcher at the Health Sciences Research Center (HSRC), histopathology unit. In addition, Ms. Hamida volunteered as a reviewer for more than 25 journals and has over 15 online published articles with an h-index of 9. Hamida's research interests include nanobiology and cancer biology, in which she attempted to understand how we can use nanoparticles as safe and alternative therapeutic and diagnostic methods for traditional cancer therapies.
